Job summary

TS Global seeks a Business Development Manager to grow our surface mining presence across the Bowen Basin. You’ll be out in the field, visiting sites, opening doors and building relationships that turn into lasting work.

Based in Mackay with access to our workshop and service teams, you’ll plan customer visits, pursue opportunities and deliver practical conveyor and materials handling solutions that meet client needs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in proactive business development, including cold calling and approaching new customers.
• Established contacts in the mining sector.
• Understanding of surface mining or related industries.
• Ability to engage with workshop teams to senior decision-makers.
• Conveyor or materials handling experience would be a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Find new business through site visits and your existing industry network.
• Build relationships with surface mining customers across the Bowen Basin.
• Identify opportunities for conveyor products, manufactured components, workshop work, service, shutdowns and refurbishment.
• Work with our technical and operational teams to put practical solutions in front of customers.
• Grow existing accounts while building a strong pipeline of new work.
• Follow opportunities through from the first conversation to delivery.
