Job summary

Programmed Energy & Resources is seeking an experienced Mining Account Manager to lead the delivery of workforce contracts across Bowen Basin. This site-based leadership role runs on a 5/2 roster with 12-hour shifts and accommodation provided while on swing.

The role is ideal for someone based near Townsville, QLD, and focuses on safe, high-performing staffing solutions. As the contract grows, expect a move to 7 days on / 7 days off with expanded responsibilities including business development

Qualifications

• This role requires strong experience in open-cut black coal operations.
• Proven ability to lead operations, contractor management or account management.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A proactive, hands-on approach and safety-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with the customer and site leaders.
• Manage day-to-day delivery of workforce services across multiple mine sites.
• Ensure rosters are filled and employees are supported.
• Monitor safety, compliance and operational performance.
• Assist employees onsite to meet client safety expectations.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and grow market share.
