Job summary

New City International Migration & Education Center, located in Sydney CBD, is seeking a Migration Agent Assistant / Registered Migration Agent to join their team. The role offers exposure to a wide range of visa applications and document management under an experienced senior migration practitioner.

The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, organised and committed to building a long-term career in Australian migration.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in Australian migration application/document preparation.
• Strong English writing and communication skills.
• Mandarin speaking ability is essential.
• High attention to detail and analytical ability.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Preparing visa application documents, submissions and supporting materials.
• Reviewing client documents and identifying potential issues.
• Communicating with clients in English and Mandarin.
• Conducting migration law and policy research as required.
• Assisting with case management, deadlines and follow-up tasks.

We are a leading migration and education consultancy located in Sydney CBD, with a strong reputation in the industry and nearly 20 years of professional experience assisting clients with Australian visa and migration matters.

We are now seeking a highly capable Migration Agent Assistant / Registered Migration Agent to join our team. This role is suitable for someone who is detail-oriented, efficient, well organised, and genuinely committed to building a long-term career in the Australian migration industry.

You will work closely with a senior Registered Migration Agent with approximately 20 years of industry experience and will be involved in preparing and managing a wide range of visa applications and related documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing visa application documents, submissions and supporting materials
• Reviewing client documents and identifying potential issues
• Communicating with clients in both English and Mandarin
• Conducting migration law and policy research where required
• Assisting with case management, deadlines and follow-up tasks
• Supporting the migration team with administrative and documentation work

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in Australian migration application/document preparation work
• Good English writing and communication skills
• Mandarin speaking ability is essential
• Strong attention to detail
• Good logical thinking and analytical ability
• Familiarity with Australian migration legislation, policy and visa requirementsHigh work efficiency and strong organisational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced, high-volume work environment
• A genuine interest in developing a long-term career in the migration industry
