Job summary

Aussizz Migration and Education in Melbourne, VIC is seeking a Migration Agent to support a broad caseload across skilled migration, employer sponsorship, and partner/family visas.

You will provide guidance to individuals and Australian businesses, ensuring compliance with the Migration Act and OMARA obligations, while delivering accurate submissions and timely updates to clients.

Qualifications

• Current MARA registration or equivalent and eligibility to practise in Australia.
• 0–2 years post-registration experience; new graduates welcome.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a client-first approach to case management.
• Fluency in Mandarin, Vietnamese, or Bahasa Indonesia is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and lodge visa applications, including ImmiAccount.
• Manage a caseload, track deadlines, and update clients at each stage.
• Apply knowledge of visa subclasses: skilled migration, employer sponsorship, or partner/family visas.
• Review documents and assess evidence against visa criteria.
• Communicate with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Liaise with employers, HR teams, or sponsors on employer-sponsored matters.
• Draft submissions and correspondence with the Department of Home Affairs.

You'll work across a broad caseload spanning skilled migration, employer sponsorship, and partner/family visa matters, supporting individual clients as well as Australian businesses navigating workforce planning and compliance-driven visa solutions. Key responsibilities

• Visa application preparation and lodgement, including working knowledge of ImmiAccount
• Case management — managing a caseload, tracking deadlines, and keeping clients updated at each stage
• Working knowledge of key visa subclasses (skilled migration, employer sponsorship, or partner/family visas)
• Document review and evidence assessment against visa criteria
• Client communication with people from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds
• Understanding of the Migration Act, Code of Conduct for Migration Agents, and OMARA obligations
• Written communication, including drafting submissions and correspondence with the Department of Home Affairs
• Stakeholder liaison with employers, HR teams, or sponsors on employer-sponsored matters

About you

• Current registration as a Migration Agent (MARA) or equivalent, and eligibility to practise in Australia
• 0–2 years' post-registration experience — recent graduates from migration law programs awaiting accreditation welcome
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A client-first, detail-oriented approach to case management
• Fluency in Mandarin, Vietnamese, or Bahasa Indonesia highly regarded
