Job summary

Seers Digital is seeking a Microsoft Functional Lead to drive Power Platform and Dynamics 365 CE initiatives for Queensland’s government-scale programs.

You will bridge business and technical teams, shape architecture, mentor delivery staff and lead workshops to deliver scalable Microsoft solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience across Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE and/or Power Platform.
• Functional Lead, Senior Functional Consultant or Solution Architect experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Power Automate, Canvas Apps & Model-Driven Apps, Power Pages, Power BI.
• Experience with Dataverse architecture, security model, ALM and governance.
• Ability to translate requirements into functional specifications, process maps and designs.

Microsoft Functional Lead — Power Platform & Dynamics 365 CE

Seers Digital is looking for an experienced Microsoft Functional Lead – Power Platform & Dynamics 365 CE to join our growing Microsoft practice.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with one of Queensland’s largest State Government agencies, an organization highly regarded for its technology capability, innovation and workplace culture, while delivering meaningful, large-scale digital initiatives within a sophisticated enterprise environment.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for someone who can comfortably move between functional leadership, hands‑on configuration and solution architecture conversations.

You’ll act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams — understanding complex requirements, designing scalable solutions and helping lead delivery across the Microsoft ecosystem.

This is not just a requirements or documentation role. You’ll be expected to bring strong Microsoft platform knowledge and enough technical depth to confidently work alongside developers, architects and infrastructure teams.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead functional design and solution delivery across Power Platform and Dynamics 365 CE
• Lead workshops, discovery sessions and requirements gathering with business and technical stakeholders
• Translate requirements into functional specifications, process maps and solution designs
• Configure and customise Dynamics 365 CE, Dataverse, Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps
• Design automation and workflows using Power Automate
• Work across Power Pages and Power BI
• Collaborate on integrations involving Azure Logic Apps and Function Apps
• Support identity and access requirements across Microsoft Entra ID, App Registrations and Service Principals
• Advise stakeholders on platform capability, architecture, governance and Microsoft best practice
• Support Dataverse architecture, security and ALM
• Mentor consultants and developers and review solution quality
• Contribute to solution scoping, estimation and pre-sales activities where required

What We’re Looking For

You’ll ideally have 5+ years’ experience across Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE and/or Power Platform, with experience as a Functional Lead, Senior Functional Consultant or Solution Architect.

Strong hands‑on experience with:

• Power Automate – cloud flows, approvals and integration patterns
• Canvas Apps & Model-Driven Apps
• Power Pages
• Power BI – reporting, dashboards and data modelling
• Dynamics 365 CE – configuration, customisation, security roles and business process flows
• Dataverse – architecture, security model, managed/unmanaged solutions and ALM
• Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD
• Azure Logic Apps & Function Apps
• App Registrations & Service Principals

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills are essential. You should be comfortable engaging with everyone from business users through to developers, architects and senior client stakeholders.

Microsoft Certifications

Current and relevant Microsoft certifications will be highly regarded, particularly:

• Customer Insights – Journeys
• Exposure to other Dynamics 365 modules
• Consulting or professional services experience
• Experience delivering within government, regulated or complex enterprise environments
