Job summary

Nixil in Canberra seeks a Senior Power Platform Software Engineer to drive hands-on development and technical leadership, delivering reliable, scalable digital solutions using Dynamics 365, Dataverse and the Power Platform.

You will collaborate with software engineers, stakeholders and project teams to create user-focused applications, maintain best practices, and guide delivery in a small, cohesive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and delivering solutions with Dynamics 365, Dataverse and the Power Platform, including Power Pages.
• Strong front-end skills with JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML and CSS.
• Experience with a modern front-end framework, ideally Vue.js.
• Strong full-stack skills with C#, .NET, REST APIs, JSON and SQL.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, source control and CI/CD practices.
• Experience with Azure and Power Platform integration technologies (API Management, Functions, Logic Apps, Power Automate).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Power Platform Software Engineer who combines strong hands-on development expertise with the ability to provide technical leadership. You will work closely with software engineers, business stakeholders and multidisciplinary project teams to deliver reliable, scalable and user-focused applications.

Essential Experience

To succeed in this role, you will need:

Security clearance: Must be an Australian Citizen & Must be able to obtain Baseline clearance.

• Demonstrated experience developing solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365, Dataverse and the Power Platform, including Power Pages.
• Strong front-end development skills using JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML and CSS.
• Experience with a modern front-end framework, ideally Vue.js.
• Strong full-stack development experience using C#, .NET, REST APIs, JSON and SQL.
• Experience integrating front-end applications with backend services and APIs.
• Experience with Azure and Power Platform integration technologies, including API Management, Azure Functions, Logic Apps and Power Automate.
• Experience working within established application architectures, development patterns and reusable component frameworks.
• Practical experience with Azure DevOps, source control and CI/CD practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary delivery teams.

Highly Desirable

• Experience with AI and intelligent automation technologies, such as Azure AI, Microsoft Copilot, AI Builder, generative AI or agent-based solutions.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications across Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Azure or artificial intelligence.
