Job summary

Talent Street is recruiting for a Solution Architect – D365 to define and govern the architecture of a new Case Management Platform built on Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Microsoft 365 for a Queensland government program.

The role focuses on enterprise-scale solution design, integration, governance, and delivery leadership within a contract-based project spanning to 2028, based in Queensland.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience delivering enterprise-scale business applications with architecture/lead implementation focus.
• Strong expertise in Dynamics 365, Power Platform, SharePoint Online and Dataverse.
• Experience designing enterprise case management or regulatory solutions using Dynamics 365.

Responsibilities

• Lead solution architecture design for an enterprise-scale Dynamics 365 Case Management platform.
• Define conceptual, logical and technical architectures, integration specs, environment strategies, and architecture decision records.
• Own the Dynamics 365 and Power Platform architecture, ensuring scalable, secure and supportable solutions.
• Govern document and records management across Dynamics 365, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft 365.
• Lead integration design between Dynamics 365, Azure services, Power Platform, ERP/Analytics platforms.
• Contribute to Technical Design Authority and Architecture Review Board governance processes.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to delivery teams, developers and administrators.
• Advise senior management on platform roadmap, technical debt, risks, and capability planning.

Be part of a nation-leading child safeguarding reform that will genuinely change lives across Queensland. This is a rare opportunity to own the architecture of a mission-critical Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform being built from the ground up.

THE ROLE

Our client, a Queensland State Government commission, is standing up a landmark ICT program to support child safeguarding reform across the state. As Solution Architect – D365, you will define, govern and assure the architecture of a new Case Management Platform built on Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Microsoft 365. This is a contract role based in Queensland, working within a funded, active program with clear delivery milestones through to 2028.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Lead solution architecture design for an enterprise-scale Dynamics 365 Case Management platform
• Define conceptual, logical and technical architectures, integration specifications, environment strategies, and architecture decision records
• Own the Dynamics 365 and Power Platform architecture, ensuring scalable, secure and supportable solutions aligned to Microsoft best practices
• Govern document and records management capabilities across Dynamics 365, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft 365
• Lead integration design between Dynamics 365, Azure services, Power Platform, enterprise applications, and analytics platforms
• Contribute to Technical Design Authority and Architecture Review Board governance processes
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to delivery teams, developers and administrators
• Advise senior management on platform roadmap, technical debt, risks, and capability planning

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• 10+ years' experience delivering enterprise-scale business application solutions, with significant time in Solution Architecture or Lead Implementation roles
• Deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, SharePoint Online, Dataverse, Model-Driven Applications, and Power Automate
• Demonstrated experience designing enterprise case management, workflow, or regulatory solutions using Dynamics 365
• Strong understanding of Dataverse architecture, integration architecture, security models, role-based access control, ALM, and information governance
• Experience working within highly governed environments, including government, justice or regulatory settings
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences

NICE TO HAVE

• Microsoft certifications including Dynamics 365 Solution Architect Expert, Power Platform Solution Architect Expert, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Microsoft 365 or SharePoint-related certifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
• Experience with Azure DevOps and enterprise information management solutions
