Job summary

Brand Influence Group (BIG) is seeking a BIG Merchandiser for an ongoing casual role in Newcastle West and surrounds. You will manage an allocated territory, foster relationships with key retailers, and handle replenishment, displays, and launches.

Hours average 15 per week (Tue–Fri availability essential); driver license and car required. Roster released two weeks in advance; competitive rate $34.34/hour + kms. Training and growth opportunities offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in supermarket/retail environments is desirable.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage territory.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

As aBIG Merchandiser, you will managean allocatedterritory, fostering relationships with key retailers. In this ongoing casual role, you’ll ensure operational excellence through precise task execution - covering everything from replenishment and ticketing to display builds, compliance audits, new product launches and more.

About the Role:

Territory: NEWCASTLE WEST and surrounds (Suburbs may include, but are not limited to Hamilton, Newcastle, Newcastle West, New Lambton, The Junction and Waratah)

Hours: Average of 15 hours per week based on business needs (no guaranteed minimum hrs)

Availability: Tuesday to Friday availability is essential

Essential: Driver license and car

Key Responsibilities:

• Driving strong relationships with store personnel
• Building and maintaining quality displays in store
• Negotiating promotional space
• Executing planograms
• Submit tasks & quality photos daily via smartphone/tablet
• Represent BIG and our clients positively and professionally
• Safely performing the physical requirements, including prolonged standing, walking, bending, lifting, and repetitive movements.

Successful candidate will need:

• Supermarket, retail, pharmacy or liquor experience is highly desirable
• A current Australian driver’s licence and vehicle
• Strong & friendly communication, organisational skills and attention to detail
• An ability to work autonomously
• Ability to perform the physical & repetitive requirements of the role
