Job summary

Family Business Association in Melbourne is seeking a Membership Engagement Officer to strengthen communications, engagement and CRM operations for its Australian member base. You will help deliver targeted outreach, supporting member acquisition, retention and program participation.

The role involves maintaining CRM data, building engagement pipelines, and using segmentation to tailor messages. A 4+ year background in membership, communications or related executive assistant work is valued.

About the Role

Do you enjoy connecting with people, finding ways to keep them engaged and using technology and data to make it all happen?

We're looking for a Membership Engagement Officer to join Family Business Association (FBA) and help us strengthen how we communicate with, engage and support our members across Australia.

This is a varied, hands-on role that brings together member engagement, communications and CRM operations.

Reporting to our National Membership Manager, and working alongside our State Representatives and Marketing and Communications team, you'll help deliver targeted communications and outreach activities that support member acquisition, engagement and retention. You'll enjoy picking up the phone to have a conversation, following up with members and helping them connect with relevant FBA events, programs and opportunities.

We're looking to make the most of our new system and CRM. You'll help maintain accurate membership data, develop member engagement pipelines and automations, and explore how we can use segmentation to communicate more effectively with our members. There's plenty of opportunity to contribute ideas and help improve how we do things.

You'll bring around 4+ years of relevant experience in membership, customer engagement, communications, an executive assistant role or a similar field, along with a relevant qualification. Experience with CRM systems and member communications will be highly regarded, but we're equally interested in your ability to learn, think critically and take initiative.
