Job summary

Doctors’ Health Fund in Sydney is seeking a Member Services Specialist to support members with expert guidance and clear information. This role is full-time and permanent, offering a hybrid work model with a policy enabling work from home or our Darling Park office.

You will join a customer-centric team delivering personalised service, with comprehensive training, coaching, and opportunities to grow within a regulated health fund environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or contact centre, ideally within health insurance or financial services.
• Ability to explain policies, benefits and processes in plain English.
• Demonstrated experience handling inquiries, resolving issues and managing sensitive member conversations.
• Strong time management and attention to detail across multiple systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate, high quality information that helps members make confident decisions.
• Respond to member enquiries via phone and email in a professional, and efficient manner.
• Maintain and update member records, while identifying opportunities to improve service outcomes, retention, and growth.
• Build and maintain strong knowledge of private health insurance, including Doctors’ Health Fund products, systems, and processes.
• Participate in ongoing training and coaching to keep knowledge current and skills sharp.
