Job summary

Belgravia Leisure’s Mount Barker recreation centre is seeking a friendly Customer Service Officer to welcome members and visitors. In a casual role, you’ll handle reception, merchandising and sales following established procedures to deliver first-class service to our community.

You’ll manage cash with POS, promote programs and memberships, process bookings and enrollments, and help open/close the centre with safety in mind.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service with a friendly approach.
• Solid cash handling and POS experience.
• Ability to promote services, memberships and programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service in person and by phone.
• Handle cash and operate POS systems accurately.
• Inform and assist customers with memberships, bookings and enrolments.
• Promote centre services and programs; process bookings/enrolments.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers; uphold public relations standards.
• Open/close the centre following security and safety procedures.
