Job summary

Play Nation in Sydney is seeking a friendly front desk host to welcome players and guests and help create a welcoming community.

You will manage bookings, answer inquiries, assist with café operations and coordinate events, working closely with the team to keep the venue clean, organized and engaging for all ages.

This role requires energy, reliability and strong communication, with the ability to multitask during busy periods and to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Outgoing, friendly and confident speaking with customers.
• Warm and welcoming with a positive personality.
• Energetic and enthusiastic, someone who genuinely enjoys interacting with people.
• A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable multitasking and staying calm under pressure.
• Reliable, proactive and willing to jump in wherever needed.
• Comfortable using booking systems and basic computer programs.
• Able to work independently while also being a strong team player.
• Current First Aid & CPR certification, or willingness to obtain
• Valid Working with Children Check

Responsibilities

• Welcome members and guests with genuine energy, warmth and enthusiasm
• Create a positive and memorable experience for every customer
• Manage bookings, check-ins and general customer enquiries
• Answer phone calls, messages and social media
• Support the day-to-day operation of the front desk
• Help coordinate social play, programs and events
• Build strong relationships with members and help create a genuine Play Nation community
• Keep the facility running smoothly and looking clean and welcoming
• Assist with retail and pro shop sales
• Assist with café operations, including preparing coffee, smoothies and other drinks
