Job summary

The Star Sydney is seeking a Front Office Agent to be at the heart of our operations, ensuring smooth check-ins/outs, assisting with bookings, and handling payments with precision. You will excel in guest service, delivering smiles and friendly, professional service throughout every guest stay.

Qualifications

• Extensive guest service experience in Front Office/Guest Services.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; knowledge of hotel check-in systems (Opera highly regarded).
• Second language is a plus but not required.
• Good knowledge of the local area and surroundings.
• Excellent grooming and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service during check-in, check-out and stay.
• Respond to reservations via phone or email promptly.
• Maintain professionalism and guest confidentiality per policies.
• Take initiative for tasks such as processing payments and issuing room keys.
• Handle credit and cash transactions and guest account charges.
