Job summary

CoreVue Radiology is seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our brand-new imaging centre in Melbourne. This role can be part-time or full-time and focuses on delivering an exceptional patient experience at the first point of contact.

You will greet patients, manage check-in, answer calls and emails, schedule appointments, inform patients of preparation requirements, and handle billing. Radiology experience and proficiency with practice management software and MS Office are highly regarded.

Are you a friendly, organized, and patient-focused Medical Receptionist looking to join a modern and growing healthcare team?

CoreVue Radiology is a brand-new comprehensive imaging centre located in the heart of Kew, close to cafés, shops, public transport, and convenient street parking. We are seeking a Medical Receptionist to become the welcoming face of our practice and play a key role in delivering an exceptional patient experience.

As the first point of contact for our patients, you will help create a warm and professional environment while supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the clinic. This is an exciting opportunity to join a new practice and contribute to its growth from the very beginning.

About the Role

As a Medical Receptionist, you will:

• Greet patients warmly and assist with check-in procedures
• Answer phone calls and emails promptly and professionally
• Schedule appointments and manage patient enquiries
• Advise patients of preparation requirements prior to appointments
• Process billing for private patients, Medicare, WorkCover, and DVA
• Collaborate with clerical and technical staff, specialists, and referrers
• Assist in maintaining an efficient and welcoming clinic environment

What We Are Looking For

• A passion for providing outstanding patient care and customer service
• Previous medical reception experience (radiology experience highly regarded)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with patients from diverse backgrounds
