We are looking for someone to manage patient reception, appointments, phone enquiries, records and Medicare billing in a busy clinic, while supporting doctors and nursing staff and keeping the reception area welcoming.

Qualifications

• Experience in medical reception or healthcare is desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Friendly, courteous and patient-focused.
• Confidentiality and patient privacy aware.

Responsibilities

• Patient reception and appointment management
• Answering and managing telephone enquiries
• Updating patient records and scanning documents
• Medicare billing, payments, invoices and receipts
• Managing emails, correspondence and daily administration
• Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming reception area
• Supporting doctors and nursing staff with day-to-day practice operations
• Opening and closing the clinic as required
