Qualifications

• At least 1 year of administration experience.
• Professional, polite and friendly manner on site and on the phone.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Honest, reliable and punctual.
• Able to multitask in a busy environment.
• Good computer skills; training available for Best Practice / Bp Premier.
• Knowledge of Medicare billing or willingness to learn.
• Must live in Bendigo or surrounding area.
• Current Police Check and Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and manage front desk in a busy GP clinic.
• Answer phone calls, book appointments (including online bookings).
• Process Medicare, private and third‑party billing and take EFTPOS payments.
• Manage referrals, faxes, secure messages and correspondence.
• Assist patients with forms, recalls and reminders.
• Keep patient records accurate, private and confidential.
• Support doctors, nurses and reception team to keep the day running smoothly.
