Job summary

Strathpine GP Superclinic is seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our front desk team in Strathpine, QLD. Full time or part time roles available, with shifts between 7:00am and 5:30pm and a weekend rotation.

Training on Best Practice software provided, and a supportive team of 12 GPs and allied staff. The role involves front desk duties, phone bookings and triage, billing (Medicare, DVA, WorkCover and private), and keeping doctors\' sessions running with recalls and general admin tasks.

Qualifications

• GP reception experience preferred but not essential
• Ability to stay calm when front desk is busy and multiple tasks demand attention
• Accurate billing and attention to detail
• Punctual and reliable with weekend availability
• Willingness to be trained on software and processes

Responsibilities

• Front desk: greet patients, check-in, manage waiting room flow
• Phones: handle bookings, inquiries, triage and nurse escalation
• Billing: Medicare, DVA, WorkCover and private billing
• Keep doctors\' sessions running, chase no-shows and accommodate urgent patients
• Scanning, recalls, records and general admin to keep a large clinic ticking
