Allambie Medical Centre in Allambie Heights is seeking an experienced medical receptionist for a part-time position in our GP-owned practice. Join a friendly and supportive team with the opportunity to expand and develop skills.

Shifts would include Tuesdays 7am-2.30pm and Fridays 12pm-7.30pm. Duties include answering telephone calls and enquiries, meeting and greeting patients, scheduling and managing appointments, creating and maintaining patient records, invoicing and receipting patients,

Qualifications

• Minimum 6–12 months experience in a general practice setting is required.
• Sound knowledge of Medicare billing and the Health System.
• Knowledge of medical software (preferably Best Practice).
• Strong communication skills and ability to relate to patients and other staff members.
• Friendly, enthusiastic with an ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to multitask
• Committed to providing a high standard of patient care.
