Imaging Associates is seeking a friendly Receptionist for our Radiology department in Wonthaggi. You will be the first point of contact for patients, providing compassionate service, coordinating appointments, and supporting the clinical team to ensure efficient imaging services.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering high-quality patient-facing service.
• Strong communication with patients, referrers, and hospital staff.

• Comfortable with technology and learning new systems.
• Willingness to work a rostered 8-hour shift (8am–6pm, Mon–Fri).
• Experience in medical administration is highly regarded.

Imaging Associates (IA) is a doctor-led, highly respected and rapidly growing radiology business with practices across Melbourne, Gippsland and Bass Coast, and Wagga Wagga. IA prides itself on providing cutting edge diagnostic imaging services with a focus on clinical and patient excellence.

Wonthaggi Hospital services the Bass Coast and South Gippsland shire communities and offers a range of services, including Pathology, Acute Ward, Radiology, Theatre and Maternity. The Imaging Associates team is excited by the opportunity to provide radiology services to the community in this region and seek to engage a highly qualified and dedicated radiography team providing a range of high-quality imaging services.

As the Receptionist for our Radiology department, you will act as the first point of contact for all patients. You will provide top-notch service and care to everyone who walks through our doors: compassion and empathy are key, and you will work collaboratively with our clinical team to ensure that our radiology service offering is provided in a professional and respectful way.

Key responsibilities include:

• Welcoming patients and providing them with information about their appointment
• Liaising with hospital staff to facilitate patient imaging
• Managing calls and patient bookings
• Responding to enquiries from patients and referrers
• Managing patient invoicing and receipting
