Job summary

The X-Ray Group, part of the IDX family, is a leading diagnostic imaging provider serving the Albury/Wodonga region. We are seeking a Full-Time Medical Receptionist to be the welcoming face across our Albury clinics and to uphold the highest standards of service to patients, referrers, and the community.

In this role, you will handle calls, scheduling with Visage RIS, referrals processing, and patient preparation.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing experience is a plus.
• Willingness to learn medical imaging terminology.
• Advanced computer and keyboard skills required.

Responsibilities

• Answering Calls and be the friendly voice of the clinic.
• Scheduling using Visage RIS to manage appointments.
• Maximise efficiency and keep things running smoothly.
• Process referrals from multi-disciplinary teams.
• Prepare patients with clear instructions and cost estimates.
• Work across Albury clinics as a full-time team member.

The X-Ray Group as part of the IDX group it is a key well-established leading diagnostic imaging provider in the Albury/Wodonga region offering comprehensives services with fully licenced MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Interventional Radiology to Ultrasound and X-ray.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Working as part of a team and being the face of our organisation, we are seeking a Full-Time Medical Receptionist to work across our Albury Clinics as the face of our organisation, as you deliver on the highest standards of services to our patients, referrers and community.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Answering Calls: Be the friendly, professional voice that patients and referrers hear.
• Scheduling: Use our state-of-the-art RIS system - Visage
• Maximising Efficiency: Keep things running smoothly by managing appointments.
• Referrals: Action patient referrals from multi-disciplinary teams
• Prepping Patients: Clear communication to patients informing them of preparation, costing estimates and other requirements.
• This is a Full-Time role working Monday to Friday.
