IDX Group’s X-Ray Clinic in Yarrawonga is seeking a part-time Medical Receptionist to join a friendly, supportive team. You will be the face of the practice, handling front desk duties and patient enquiries with empathy.

You will manage bookings, relay preparation and cost information, and liaise with a multi-disciplinary team across sites. Training is provided and career development opportunities are available.

Qualificações

• Experience as a medical receptionist or front-desk role.
• Strong interpersonal and communicational abilities to engage patients with care and empathy.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks in a busy clinic.

Responsabilidades

• Greet patients and act as the first impression of the practice.
• Answer phones and respond to patient enquiries promptly and sensitively.
• Schedule bookings and maximise appointment capacity.
• Inform patients about preparations, costs, and concession card requirements.
• Coordinate referrals with Radiologists, Radiographers, Sonographers and Nuclear Medicine Technologists.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Working as part of a team and being the face of our organisation, we are seeking a part time Medical Receptionist to work at our Yarrawonga site and join our fun and supportive team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Representing X-Ray Group as the first impression of the practice as you meet and greet patients at the front desk.
• Answering the telephone and respond to patient enquiries in an efficient and sensitive manner
• Make a patient bookings while maximising appointment slots
• Informing patients of relevant preparation, costing estimates, and requirement to present relevant concession cards.
• Actioning patient referrals as part of a multi-disciplinary team comprising of fellow Receptionists, Booking Centre Agents, Radiologists, Radiographers, Sonographers and Nuclear Medicine Technologists.

ABOUT YOU

• Previous medical receptionist experience
• Excellent interpersonal skills in order to show patients care, compassion and empathy
• Detailed understanding of medical imaging terminology
• Excellent time management skills in order to prioritise tasks
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
• Excellent keyboard skills for data entry into RIS system
• EFTPOS and cash handling skills
• Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
• The flexibility to work between sites desirable
