Job summary

I-MED Radiology Network in Port Macquarie is seeking a friendly Medical Receptionist to join our Lord Street clinic on a casual basis. You will be the first point of contact for patients and help with check-in and inquiries.

The role includes coordinating appointments, handling billing (private, Medicare, workers compensation and DVA), and collaborating with radiologists and referrers. Availability Monday to Friday from 6:00am to 6:00pm is required.

Qualifications

• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organisational abilities to manage appointments and patient flow.
• Confidence using multiple computer screens and clinical systems.
• Previous experience in medical reception.
• Availability to work Monday to Friday, with shifts from 6:00am to 6:00pm.
• Friendly, professional, and patient-focused demeanor.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a friendly and professional Medical Receptionist to join our team at our Port Macquarie - Lord Street clinic on a casual basis.

This is a casual position with the potential to lead to a permanent part-time opportunity for the right candidate. Please note that a permanent part-time position is not guaranteed and will be subject to business needs and performance.

The successful candidate will need to be available to work Monday to Friday, across shifts between 6:00am and 6:00pm.
