IDX’s Lake Imaging / Capital Radiology / FMIG / Imaging @ Olympic Park / Direct Radiology unit seeks a Medical Liaison Officer to grow referrals in east Melbourne. You’ll build strong relationships with doctors and allied providers while collaborating with clinical and operations teams to enhance service delivery.

You’ll organize educational events, gather market feedback, and support strategic growth initiatives in a dynamic radiology network.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated sales or business development experience within healthcare.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to plan, promote and deliver promotional lunches and information evenings.
• Strong organizational skills and independence to work with minimal supervision.
• Driver's license required for field-based duties.

Responsibilities

About the role

At IDX we are seeking a Medical Liasion Officer for our Business Development Team. Working within east Melbourne region, this exciting role will focus on fostering and developing new relationships with referrers, across our extensive clinic network. Representing our brand portfolio of Capital Radiology, FMIG and Imaging @ Olympic Park, as part of Integral Diagnostics (IDX).

Reporting to the Marketing & Business Development Manager, this is a full-time position, however, flexible working days/hours or part-time working arrangement will be considered.

You will be responsible for

• Growing our referral base and provide deep engagement with local healthcare providers, including doctors and allied specialists
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with referring doctors and stakeholders
• Supporting referrer needs to help drive referral growth within your region
• Organising and hosting medical education and events with members of your team
• Collaborating with clinical and operational team leaders to enhance service delivery
• Gathering and sharing insights and feedback from the market to inform strategy

To Be Successful You'll Need

• Demonstrated sales and/or business development experience within the healthcare industry (highly regarded)
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholdersAbility to work independently, be resourceful and be self-disciplined
• Excellent organisational skills to plan, promote and deliver promotional lunches, information evenings and any other events as required
• Drivers license as this is a filed based role
• Degree in medical imaging, health or science discipline (desirable)
