Job summary

Canberra Physiotherapy Centre is seeking a friendly receptionist to ensure patients have a welcoming experience at the clinic and are well informed when enquiring.

The role involves meeting and greeting patients, handling calls, scheduling appointments in Pracsuite, processing EFTPOS, HICAPS, Medicare, DVA and cash payments, and liaising with insurers and other third parties to send invoices and remittances.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a medical setting is preferred, but not essential.
• Excellent telephone manner.
• Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a busy environment.
• Flexible hours and days with good remuneration.

Responsibilities

• Meeting and greeting patients.
• Incoming and outgoing phone calls, faxes, emails.
• Booking patient appointments in Pracsuite.
• Processing EFTPOS, HICAPS, Medicare, DVA and cash payments.
• Liaising with insurers and other third party providers.
• Sending invoices and receiving remittances.
