Job summary

The Physio, Rehab and Health Clinic in Carlton NSW is seeking a Part-Time senior medical receptionist to work Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. You will be the first point of contact for patients, helping create a welcoming, professional atmosphere and supporting the smooth operation of the clinic.

Key duties include greeting patients, managing appointments in Cliniko, handling queries by phone, email and in person, processing payments via HICAPS/EFTPOS and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as medical receptionist or healthcare administrative role.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency with Cliniko clinic software and general computer systems.
• Knowledge of healthcare privacy regulations and confidentiality.
• Compassionate, patient‑focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Greeting patients warmly and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
• Managing appointments in Cliniko; confirmations and rescheduling.
• Handling inquiries via phone, email and in person with professionalism.
• Processing payments via HICAPS/EFTPOS and maintaining records.
• Maintaining supplies and liaising with suppliers; restocking as needed.
• Updating patient information and uploading records in Cliniko.
• Invoicing and liaising with case managers for Workers' Compensation and Third-Party.
• Keeping reception area clean and organised; supporting towel washing duties.
• Assisting team during peak periods as required.
