Tetris Group is seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our team on a casual basis. Based in Smithfield, NSW, this role offers flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to a diverse range of mechanical fitting projects. As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical components and equipment to the highest standards of quality and safety. This position is integral to ensuring our clients receive reliable, well-executed mechanical solutions.

Key responsibilities

Assembling and installing mechanical components, equipment, and systems according to technical specifications and drawings

Performing precision fitting work using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment

Conducting routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance

Reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders accurately

Inspecting finished work to ensure it meets quality standards and safety requirements

Troubleshooting mechanical issues and identifying solutions efficiently

Maintaining a safe and clean working environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols

Collaborating with team members and supervisors to complete projects on schedule

Recording work completed and maintaining accurate documentation

What we're looking for
