Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter or similar role.
• Strong proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and precision measurement instruments.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Sound understanding of mechanical principles and assembly techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to adapt to varying work schedules.
• Current relevant qualifications or certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install mechanical components, equipment, and systems per specifications.
• Perform precision fitting using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment.
• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs to ensure performance.
• Read technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders accurately.
• Inspect finished work for quality and safety.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and propose solutions.
• Maintain safe, clean working environment and follow health and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team to complete projects on schedule.
• Document work performed and maintain records.
