Job summary

Programmed Maintenance Services in Penrith NSW is seeking an experienced Fitter for a workshop-based role with project work, site tasks and plant shutdowns.

Successful applicants will hold an Australian recognised Trade Certificate - Fitter, perform mechanical installation and repairs, and participate in preventive and corrective maintenance while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification required: Australian recognised Trade Certificate - Fitter or Cert 3 in Engineering - Mechanical Trade.
• Experience performing mechanical installation and repairs.
• Strong commitment to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical installation and repairs.
• Conduct preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance.
• Carry out modification, commissioning, testing, fault finding and diagnostics.
• Attend breakdowns to all plant and equipment.

To be successful in this role the following qualification, licences, skills and experience is required:

• Modification, commissioning, testing, fault finding and diagnostic
