Job summary

Programmed GO in Penrith is seeking experienced Fitters for a workshop-based role with project work, site assignments and shutdowns. The role requires trade certification and hands-on mechanical installation and maintenance.

You will perform preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance, fault finding and commissioning, and respond to breakdowns across plant and equipment. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Australian recognised Trade Certificate – Fitter
• Trade qualification and hands-on mechanical capability
• Commitment to health, safety, environmental and quality standards

To be successful in this role the following qualification, licences, skills and experience is required:

• Cert 3 in Engineering – Mechanical Trade or Certificate of Proficiency in Fitting & Machining (Australian Recognised)
• Perform Mechanical installation and repairs
• Preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance
• Modification, commissioning, testing, fault finding and diagnostic
• Attend breakdowns to all plant and equipment

To be successful for this role, you will need:

• Australian recognised Trade Certificate – Fitter
• Work in collaboration with contractors and other trade professionals where required
• Perform routine maintenance in accordance with maintenance schedule
• Demonstrated commitment to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality standards
• Have strong communication skills and teamwork skills
