Job summary

TRS Resourcing is seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters for workshop-based roles in Melbourne. Roles offer $55.00–$58.50/hr + Super + Overtime, with weekly pay and long-term opportunities.

These positions require mechanical fitting, assembly, hydraulics/pneumatics, fault finding and reading drawings, working with workshop tools, and the ability to work autonomously in a safety-focused team.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter or another relevant mechanical trade.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding skills.
• Experience with mechanical assembly, hydraulics and/or pneumatics.
• Ability to read and interpret technical or engineering drawings.
• Experience using workshop and power tools.
• Ability to work autonomously when required.
• Reliable attitude and a strong focus on quality.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical fitting, assembly and installation.
• Equipment fit-out and component installation.

Mechanical Fitters – Workshop Roles

TRS Resourcing is seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters for several ongoing, workshop-based opportunities across Melbourne.

Melbourne | $55.00–$58.50/hr + Super + Overtime | Long-Term Opportunities

We are working with established businesses operating across specialised manufacturing, transport equipment and industrial engineering, with multiple positions available for mechanically skilled tradespeople.

These roles will suit experienced fitters who are confident with mechanical assembly, equipment fit-out, hydraulics, pneumatics, fault finding, modifications and repairs.

The Work

Depending on the assignment, your duties may include:

• Mechanical fitting, assembly and installation

What We're Looking For
