Design & Build Recruitment is actively seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter for a permanent position in the Sydney region, offering a mix of workshop and field service across client sites in the Sydney Metro area. This hands-on role requires installation, servicing, maintenance and fault-finding across mechanical equipment.

You will work across diverse client sites with a company vehicle provided, earning $44–$50 per hour plus super.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Fitter trade qualification
• Experience in maintenance, heavy vehicle workshops or mechanic roles
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
• Capable of working independently on client sites
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Current Australian driver's licence
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship

Responsibilities

• Install, service and maintain mechanical equipment
• Diagnose and resolve hydraulic and pneumatic faults
• Fault-finding, breakdown repairs and preventative maintenance
• Mechanical assembly, installation and modifications
• Attend client sites across the Sydney Metro area
• Work with a variety of equipment across industries
• Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
• Build strong client relationships and provide on-site service

Blacktown | $44 – $50 per hour + Super + Vehicle

Are you a skilled Mechanical Fitter looking for a permanent role with variety, autonomy and the opportunity to work across a range of client sites?

We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join a well-established workshop solutions provider, servicing a diverse range of clients across the Sydney Metro area.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll be responsible for installation, servicing, maintenance and fault-finding across a range of mechanical equipment and systems.

• As a Mechanical Fitter you'll carry out installation, servicing and maintenance of mechanical equipment
• The Mechanical Fitter will be diagnosing and resolving mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults
• This Mechanical Fitter will be fault-finding, breakdown repairs and preventative maintenance
• As the Mechanical Fitter you'll be working on mechanical assembly, installation and modifications
• The Mechanical Fitter will be attending client sites across the Sydney Metro area
• The Mechanical Fitter will be working with a variety of equipment and machinery across different industries
• Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
• Building strong working relationships with clients and providing professional on-site service

What We're Looking For

• Mechanical Fitter trade qualification
• Previous experience in a maintenance, heavy vehicle workshops or mechanic
• Strong mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
