Design & Build Recruitment in Blacktown seeks a skilled Mechanical Fitter for a permanent role across workshop and field service.

You will install, service and maintain mechanical equipment, diagnose faults and work across client sites in the Sydney Metro area. The role covers hydraulics, pneumatics and risk-managed maintenance with strong safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Mechanical Fitter trade qualification.
• Experience in maintenance or heavy vehicle workshops.
• Strong mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Comfortable working independently on client sites.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Current Australian driver's licence.
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• As the Mechanical Fitter you'll carry out installation, servicing and maintenance of mechanical equipment.
• The Mechanical Fitter will be diagnosing and resolving mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults.
• This Mechanical Fitter will be fault-finding, breakdown repairs and preventative maintenance.
• As the Mechanical Fitter you'll be working on mechanical assembly, installation and modifications.
• The Mechanical Fitter will be attending client sites across the Sydney Metro area.
• The Mechanical Fitter will be working with a variety of equipment and machinery across different industries.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
• Building strong working relationships with clients and providing professional on-site service.
