Job summary

PowerUp Engineering Pty Ltd is seeking a Mechanical Fitter to work alongside our experienced team on a range of car lifts, turntables and automated parking projects across Sydney. You will read drawings, assist with installation and commissioning, and contribute to safe, high-quality workmanship on site.

The role suits a trade-qualified fitter with White Card, a valid driver's license, and a hands-on approach. Overtime and call-outs may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation and commissioning of car lifts, turntables, and automated parking systems.
• Read and interpret drawings and site plans
• Maintain a high standard of safety and workmanship on site
• Work collaboratively with engineers, fabricators, and project managers
• Flexibility to participate in overtime and call-out requirements when needed.

PowerUp Engineering is a fast-growing Sydney-based company specialising in custom car lifts, vehicle turntables, and mechanical parking solutions. Our projects range from high-end residential installations to large commercial systems, and we’re a hands-on, problem-solving team and have a strong reputation for quality and reliability.

We’re looking for a trade qualified Mechanical Fitter. You’ll work alongside our experienced engineering and installation team on a wide variety of projects across Sydney.

PowerUp conducts a 5-day work routine, Monday-Friday (7:00am-3:30pm) and works mostly inner Sydney NSW jobs.

About You

• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Comfortable working on construction or mechanical installation sites
• Reliable, hands-on, and eager to learn

Qualifications

• Driver's License (essential).
• Construction White Card (essential).
• Trade qualifications as a Mechanical Fitter or equivalent.
• Perform basic rigging (preferred).
• Work Safely at Heights – (preferred).
• Enter and Work in Confined Spaces – (preferred).
