Job summary

MECCA Brands Belconnen is opening a brand-new store in Canberra and is seeking Store Hosts on casual contracts to help bring it to life from day one. You will be the first welcome for customers, shaping store culture and delivering MECCA magic in a new community.

You’ll connect customers with the right team members, support store flow, and uphold MECCA standards while building a warm, inclusive and memorable shopping experience.

Help us open the doors to something special. We're opening an exciting new MECCA store in Belconnen, ACT, and we're looking for passionate Store Hosts to help bring it to life from day one in casual contracts. This is your opportunity to be part of building a team from the ground up, shaping an incredible store culture, and creating unforgettable customer experiences for a brand-new community. Our MECCA Belconnen store is expected to open in the final quarter of 2026, with onboarding and training commencing ahead of opening. As a Store Host, you'll be the first smile our customers see, creating a warm and welcoming experience from the moment they walk through our doors. You'll connect customers with the right team members, support the flow of the store, and help ensure every visit feels seamless, inspiring and memorable while bringing the MECCA magic to life every day.

Day-to-day responsibilities:

• Delivering an exceptional customer experience and create authentic connections with customers
• Play a key role in supporting the wider team with on‑floor presence and ability to pivot as required
• Work effectively as part of the team to support running of the store in a safe, compliant, and efficient way
• Contribute to the overall store performance through providing an excellent customer experience
