Job summary

MECCA Brands is opening a new store in Belconnen, ACT, and seeks an Operations Specialist to help bring the concept to life from day one in a permanent, part-time role (30 hours per week).

You will help ensure the store is ready, well-stocked and visually inviting, supporting the Leadership Team to deliver exceptional customer experiences and operational excellence in a brand-new community.

Qualifications

• Availability to work across early mornings, late evenings and weekends.
• Experience in retail or hospitality operations is welcome.
• Interest in beauty and brand knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Keep the Belconnen store well-stocked, organized and visually appealing for customers.
• Conduct daily stock maintenance and cyclical stock management processes.
• Support the Leadership Team to deliver operational excellence and memorable customer experiences.
• Identify and drive activities that improve store performance.
• Maintain high standards of stockroom organization, replenishment and presentation.
• Contribute to a safe, organized and positive environment for team and customers.

Help us open the doors to something special. We're opening an exciting new MECCA store in Belconnen, ACT, and we're looking for a passionate Operations Specialist to help bring it to life from day one on a permanent, part-time basis for 30 hours per week. This is your opportunity to be part of building something new — helping establish exceptional operational standards, creating an incredible store environment, and supporting unforgettable customer experiences for a brand-new community.

Our Belconnen store is expected to open in the final quarter of 2026, with onboarding and training commencing ahead of opening.

As an Operations Specialist, you'll play a key role behind the scenes, making sure our store is organised, well-stocked and ready for our customers and team to deliver MECCA magic every day.

Day-to-day responsibilities

• Keep the store well-stocked, organised and beautifully presented so our customers always have an exceptional experience
• Complete daily stock maintenance and cyclical stock management processes
• Support the Leadership Team to deliver operational excellence and exceptional customer experiences
• Identify and drive operational activities that contribute to overall store performance
• Help maintain high standards across stockroom organisation, replenishment and store presentation
• Contribute to a safe, organised and positive environment for our team and customers
