MECCA Belconnen is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join the leadership team and help bring our brand-new store to life in ACT on a full-time basis as we approach its launch at the end of 2026. You will establish strong operational routines, stock processes and visual standards, while developing your team and partnering with the Store Leadership Team to deliver MECCA magic on the shop floor.

• Own stock management: receiving, processing and maintaining stock.
• Manage and audit stocktakes with strong inventory accuracy.
• Execute monthly visual merchandising and promotional setups.
• Partner with Store Manager to identify operational improvements.

We’re opening the doors to something new — and we’re looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join the leadership team at MECCA Belconnen and help bring our brand-new store to life. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the launch of a new MECCA store, establishing operational excellence, building strong processes and creating the foundations for a high-performing team from day one. As Operations Manager, you’ll take ownership of the operational heartbeat of the store — ensuring our stock, visual merchandising and processes are seamless, while partnering with the Store Leadership Team to create an exceptional experience for our customers and team.

The Role You Could Play

We’re looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Operations Manager to join our brand-new MECCA Belconnen store in ACT on a full-time basis. You’ll play a critical role in setting the store up for success as we open our doors towards the end of 2026. From establishing strong operational routines and stock processes, to maintaining exceptional visual standards and developing your team, you’ll help create the foundations that will support the store’s long-term success. You’ll work closely with the Store Manager and Store Leadership Team to ensure the store operates seamlessly behind the scenes, allowing our team to focus on delivering MECCA magic on the shop floor.

Day‑to‑day responsibilities

• Lead the operations function of the brand‑new MECCA Belconnen store, establishing seamless processes and ways of working from day one.
• Lead and develop your Operations team through coaching, mentoring and regular feedback, building confidence and capability.
• Own stock management processes, ensuring incoming stock is received, processed and maintained efficiently and accurately.
• Manage and audit stocktakes, maintaining strong inventory accuracy and operational standards.
• Manage and execute monthly visual merchandising and promotional setups, ensuring the store consistently looks exceptional.
• Partner with the Store Manager and Store Leadership Team to identify operational opportunities and continuously improve store performance.
• Ensure operational processes support an exceptional customer experience and allow the shop floor team to deliver MECCA magic.
• Engage and motivate your team to meet KPIs and uphold MECCA’s values.
• Maintain a high level of operational discipline, attention to detail and compliance across the store.

What success looks like in this role

• Previous experience leading a team, ideally within a fast‑paced retail environment with high volumes of stock.
• Strong operational and organisational skills, with the ability to establish processes and maintain high standards.
• Previous coaching and mentoring experience, with a genuine focus on developing team member capability.

Requirement of the role

Availability to work a flexible full‑time roster, including weekends and key trading periods.
