MECCA Brands is opening a brand-new Belconnen store in ACT and seeks an inspiring Store Manager to lead the launch and shape an exceptional customer and team experience from day one.

You will lead a front-line team, partner with your leadership group to deliver MECCA’s customer experience and drive strong commercial results. This is a full-time role with a focus on creating a high-performing culture and building future leaders.

We’re opening the doors to something new — and we’re looking for an inspiring Store Manager to lead the launch of MECCA Belconnen and shape an exceptional customer and team experience from day one. This is more than a Store Manager role. It’s an opportunity to build a team, create a high-performing culture and establish a brand-new MECCA store as a destination for beauty lovers in the Belconnen community when we open our doors towards the end of 2026. As Store Manager, you’ll lead from the front, partnering with your leadership team to bring MECCA’s customer experience to life, develop future leaders and deliver strong commercial results. You’ll have the opportunity to make your mark on a new store while being supported by one of Australia’s leading prestige beauty retailers.

The Role You Could Play

We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Store Manager to lead our brand-new MECCA Belconnen store in ACT on a full-time basis. Our Store Managers typically work on a Tuesday–Saturday rotation, with flexibility required during key trading periods and the store opening journey. You’ll take ownership of the store’s performance across customer, team, operations and financial results, while creating an environment where your team can thrive. From building your leadership team and embedding MECCA ways of working, to delivering unforgettable customer moments and achieving commercial goals, you’ll play a critical role in bringing this new store to life.

Day-to-day responsibilities

Lead the launch and ongoing success of our brand-new MECCA Belconnen store, creating a strong foundation for long-term performance.

Build, lead and inspire a high-performing team, creating a culture where people feel empowered, supported and motivated to succeed.

Partner with your leadership team to deliver exceptional and seamless customer experiences every day.

Coach, mentor and develop your team and emerging leaders, providing meaningful feedback and creating opportunities for growth.

Engage and motivate your team to achieve commercial goals while living MECCA’s values.

Own store performance across our customer, team, operations and financial pillars, using data and insights to drive results.

Drive operational excellence and ensure the store is set up to deliver an exceptional experience from day one.

Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across MECCA to influence, collaborate and bring the vision for the new store to life.

What success looks like in this role

Extensive experience, ideally 3+ years, managing a large-format retail environment where you have successfully led, coached and developed large teams.

A proven ability to build high-performing teams and create an engaged, inclusive and accountable culture.

A genuine passion for exceptional customer service and creating MECCA-magic moments.

Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to use business insights and KPIs to drive performance.

Demonstrated experience coaching and developing leaders and team members to build confidence, capability and future talent.

A make-it-happen mindset, with the ability to navigate change, influence others and bring people together around a shared vision.

The ability to think big and long-term while remaining hands-on and connected to the shop floor.

Genuine care for people and a commitment to creating an outstanding team member experience.

A passion for beauty, customer experience and the opportunity to create something new.

Requirement of the role

Availability to work a flexible full-time roster, including weekends and key trading periods.
