Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional baking experience in a commercial setting.
• Strong understanding of baking techniques, food science and ingredient properties.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer-focused approach and good communication with colleagues and customers.
• Food safety certification or willingness to obtain.
• Trade certificate in baking or equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

• Mix, knead and proof dough for breads and pastries.
• Operate ovens, mixers and slicers for efficient production.
• Maintain a clean, hygienic workstation following food safety regs.
• Collaborate with Head Baker and Pastry Chef on recipes and quality.
• Assist in training and supervising junior bakers and kitchen staff.
• Ensure all goods meet our high quality and presentation standards.
