Job summary

Baked in Berrima is seeking an experienced Baker to join their high-volume artisan bakery in Berrima, NSW. You will produce breads and pastries to a high standard, maintain food safety, and work within established production systems.

The role offers full-time, permanent employment with opportunities for training and career development within the Bakers Delight network, alongside a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum one (1) year of relevant full-time experience as a Baker.
• Certificate III in Baking or equivalent highly regarded.
• Previous experience in a commercial bakery environment.
• Strong knowledge of bread production techniques and bakery processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, mix, knead, ferment and bake a variety of breads and bakery products.
• Measure and prepare ingredients in accordance with production recipes and specifications.
• Monitor dough quality to ensure consistency and product quality.
• Operate commercial bakery equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure all products meet Bakers Delight quality standards and production specifications.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements.
• Monitor stock levels and assist in minimising product waste.
• Work collaboratively with the bakery team to hit daily production targets.
• Assist with cleaning and maintaining bakery equipment, utensils and work areas.
