Job summary

Bakers Delight Sturt Mall is seeking an experienced Baker to join our team in Australia. You will produce high-quality artisan breads while upholding Bakers Delight’s standards of quality, food safety and customer satisfaction.

The role offers full-time, permanent employment with ongoing training, career development and the opportunity to work with premium bakery products within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of full-time experience as a Baker.
• Certificate III in Baking or equivalent highly regarded.
• Experience in a commercial bakery environment.
• Strong knowledge of bread production techniques and processes.
• Ability to work early morning shifts and meet production schedules.
• Strong attention to detail and consistency in product quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, mix, knead, ferment and bake a variety of breads and bakery products.
• Measure and prepare ingredients according to recipes and specifications.
• Monitor dough quality throughout production to ensure consistency.
• Operate commercial bakery equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure all products meet Bakers Delight quality standards and specs.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements.
• Monitor stock levels and help minimise product waste.
• Collaborate with the bakery team to meet daily production targets.
• Assist with cleaning and maintaining bakery equipment, utensils and work areas.
