Bailey Nelson in Sydney is seeking a Manager in Training to help run the store and deliver seamless, joy-filled customer experiences from clinic to frame styling to final dispense. You’ll play a key role in delivering world-class optical experiences while learning the business and leadership skills you need to lead your own store.

This fast-track role offers leadership growth, mentorship from senior leaders, and opportunities to open new stores across Australia and New Zealand in 2026.

Qualifications

• Retail leadership experience at supervisor or management level in fast-paced retail or service environments.
• Strong customer-service orientation and ability to drive sales KPIs.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate a team to meet targets.

What we’re looking for

• Retail, Hospitality, or Optical Leadership Experience: Proven experience at a supervisor or management level within a fast-paced retail, hospitality, or customer-centric environment
  You know how to lead from the front, manage shifts, and keep a team motivated
• Values-Driven & Grounded: Someone who aligns perfectly with our culture and values - down to earth, tight knit and constantly striving to improve
• Commercial Acumen & Sales Drive: Proven experience at a supervisor or store management level, with a track record of smashing sales budgets and driving retail KPIs (Multipairs, ATV, Conversion)
• Exceptional Customer Service Skills: A passion for delivering world‑class optical experiences, mastering the customer journey, and prioritising the customer above all else
• Natural Leadership & Accountability: Experience running daily store operations, managing rosters, and taking full ownership of store performance. You lead by example and love coaching and upskilling team members
• An Aspiring Store Manager: A driven retail leader with the ambition and resilience to upskill and step into a BN Store Manager role within 6–12 months
• Available to work full time 38 hours, Sunday–Thursday roster
