Job summary

Aruma is seeking a Manager, Community to lead a portfolio of disability and community services across NSW, driving performance, safety, and person-centred outcomes. You will mentor Service Leads and frontline teams, ensure governance, and optimize service delivery across hubs, homes, and community supports.

This role requires strategic budgeting, workforce planning, stakeholder engagement, and a resilient leadership style to navigate complex environments and deliver high-quality, inclusive

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years' leadership experience in disability, community services, health, aged care, or human services.
  • Experience managing large and diverse workforces.
  • Proven experience supporting customers with complex needs.
  • Strong understanding of NDIS, clinical governance, quality, and compliance frameworks.
  • Demonstrated success managing budgets, workforce utilisation, and operational performance.
  • A resilient and visible leader who thrives in complex environments.

About the Role

The Manager, Community is responsible for leading and managing a portfolio of community-based services, ensuring high-quality outcomes for customers while aligning with Aruma's strategic goals and values. This role provides leadership, coaching, and support to Service Leads and frontline teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.


As a key operational leader, you will oversee service delivery across a range of settings, including community hubs, respite services, customer homes, and community-based supports. You will be accountable for operational performance, financial management, workforce planning, quality outcomes, and compliance.


The successful candidate will support person-centred practices, ensuring customers receive safe, high-quality support that promotes independence, choice, and inclusion. You will also play a critical role in maintaining compliance, managing risks, and driving service excellence across your portfolio.


You will be responsible for:
