Aruma is seeking an experienced Manager, Community to lead our Toowoomba/Ipswhich portfolio, which includes a small hub environment and flexible community supports.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll work closely with Service Leads and frontline teams to drive positive culture, service excellence, and meaningful outcomes for customers.

About the Role

The Manager, Community is responsible for leading and managing a portfolio of community-based services, ensuring high-quality outcomes for customers while aligning with Aruma's strategic goals and values. This role provides leadership, coaching, and support to Service Leads and frontline teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

As a key operational leader, you will oversee service delivery across a range of settings, including community hubs, respite services, customer homes, and community-based supports. You will be accountable for operational performance, financial management, workforce planning, quality outcomes, and compliance.

The successful candidate will support person-centred practices, ensuring customers receive safe, high-quality support that promotes independence, choice, and inclusion. You will also play a critical role in maintaining compliance, managing risks, and driving service excellence across your portfolio.

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading an established team through cultural uplift and positive change.

About You
  • Minimum 5 years' leadership experience in disability, community services, health, aged care, or human services
  • Demonstrated experience leading and developing teams.
  • Strong people leadership, coaching, and performance management skills.
  • Experience managing budgets, workforce planning, and operational performance.
  • Sound knowledge of NDIS, quality, compliance, and safeguarding requirements.
  • A visible and supportive leader who builds trust, accountability, and engagement.
