Job summary

Black & White Cabs is seeking a Central Queensland Manager to oversee operations across Rockhampton and Yeppoon, driving growth in fleet, drivers and customer demand. The role is hands-on with autonomy, supported by a Queensland Regional Managers team and Fleet Relations department.

You will build strong relationships with operators, drivers, customers and stakeholders, while identifying opportunities to expand the network and customer base across Central Queensland. Immediate start available.

Qualifications

• Experience in a management, business development, operations or stakeholder engagement role
• Strong computer literacy including Microsoft Office and CRM systems
• Well-developed relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Current driver's licence

Responsibilities

• Grow fleet numbers, driver numbers and customer demand throughout Rockhampton and Yeppoon
• Recruit, engage and support drivers and operators
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with licence owners, customers and community stakeholders
• Promote Black & White Cabs services and identify new business opportunities
• Monitor local market conditions and competitor activity
• Represent Black & White Cabs at industry, community and commercial events
• Respond to customer, operator and stakeholder inquiries
• Assist with the coordination and compliance of affiliated taxi fleets
• Work closely with Head Office and internal departments to achieve regional objectives

Black & White Cabs is one of Australia's most recognised transport brands, providing trusted transport services to communities for more than 100 years.

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Central Queensland Manager (Rockhampton & Yeppoon) to lead and grow our operations across the region. This is a hands-on leadership role with responsibility for supporting operators, growing fleet and driver numbers, increasing customer demand and strengthening Black & White Cabs' position as the preferred transport provider throughout Central Queensland.

This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of an established regional business unit while being supported by an experienced Queensland Regional Managers team, Fleet Relations department and the wider Black & White Cabs network.

About the Role

Based in Rockhampton, you will be responsible for overseeing operations across Rockhampton and Yeppoon while driving meaningful growth throughout the region.

Success in this role will come from building strong relationships with operators, drivers, customers, community organisations, businesses and key stakeholders, while identifying opportunities to grow our network and customer base.

While this role provides significant autonomy and ownership of the Central Queensland region, you will be supported by an experienced team that genuinely wants to see you succeed. Working alongside fellow Queensland Regional Managers, the Fleet Relations team and the wider Black & White Cabs network, you'll have access to the knowledge, resources and support needed to deliver great outcomes for the region.

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Previous experience in a management, business development, operations or stakeholder engagement role

Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems

Well-developed relationship-building and stakeholder management skills

Excellent communication and customer service abilities

The ability to work independently and take ownership of outcomes

A proactive, solutions-focused approach

A current driver's licence

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm
