Dematic Pty. Ltd. (ILD-AUS) seeks experienced Maintenance Technicians for our Tarneit, Melbourne site, supporting a brand-new automated warehouse.
You'll work from installation through go-live, providing high-level technical support, preventative maintenance, and fault resolution on automated storage, conveyors, racking, and robotics. Qualifications
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults.
- Perform preventative maintenance and equipment audits.
- Fault finding and replacement of field devices and components.
- Troubleshoot PLCs and drive systems to resolve issues.
Responsibilities
- Trouble-shoot, problem solve, diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults
- Carry out equipment audits and preventative maintenance tasks
- Fault finding, including replacement of contactors, relays, field devices, etc
- Programming drives, scanners, electronic control modules
- Troubleshooting PLCs
- Lubrication, belt tracking, replacing bearings, chains, belts, motors & gearboxes
- Undertake training of new technicians and operators (when required)
- Seek to reduce downtime and improve system reliability
- Identify operational and equipment improvement opportunities through ongoing investigation and root cause analysis of faults

We are seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians with strong industrial experience to join our team. These roles are based in Tarneit, Melbourne, and will be at the forefront of servicing a brand-new, large-scale automated warehouse for our customer.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a major project from the initial installation and commissioning stages through to operational go-live. You will provide high-level technical support, including preventative maintenance and troubleshooting to resolve incidents and breakdowns. You will get to work on industry-leading material handling equipment such as automated storage and retrieval systems, conveyors, racking, and robotics.
Initial working hours: Day shifts, Monday to Friday.
