Job summary

Transport for NSW in Hurstville, NSW seeks a capable technician lead to drive maintenance and installation work across systems. You will manage a small team, uphold a strong safety culture, and coordinate resources to meet KPI targets while ensuring on-site safety.

You will liaise with customers and project teams, develop apprentices, and provide performance reporting. This is a permanent Full-Time RC5 role based in Hurstville with on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a small team of technicians.
• Proven focus on safety and quality standards.
• Strong communication and stakeholder liaison abilities.
• Willingness to coordinate on-call rosters and apprentices.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of technicians to perform installations and maintenance to high standards.
• Ensure KPI targets are met and safety obligations upheld.
• Coordinate resources, materials and equipment to meet operational needs.
• Maintain records for change management, work orders and cost recovery.
• Engage with customers, project teams and workforce management to deliver outcomes.
• Coach apprentices and develop team members; report performance to management.
