Job summary

Programmed Maintenance Services – Sydney NSW is seeking a Grounds Team Lead to oversee and deliver grounds maintenance across Sydney Water sites in the South West & M5 corridor. This hands-on role requires regular travel between locations and active participation in maintenance tasks, with a safety-first mindset.

You will lead on-site delivery, manage tasks, and report progress via iPad, maintaining safe work practices and equipment upkeep throughout all activities.

Qualifications

• Valid Construction White Card.
• Experience towing trailers or ability to learn.
• Comfortable using digital systems and iPads for reporting.
• Positive, flexible attitude and strong teamwork.
• Safety-conscious with a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment for yourself and others.
• Willingness to complete onboarding: medical checks, references and police checks.
• Previous experience in grounds maintenance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site delivery of grounds works, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Manage day-to-day grounds tasks across sites.
• Monitor and report progress using iPad logs and photos.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and site rules.
• Support onboarding and training of crew.
