Job summary

The Public Transport Authority (PTA) is seeking motivated Maintenance Support Officers to assist Network & Infrastructure operations in Western Australia. This role provides administration, procurement, inventory management and planning support to ensure maintenance activities are well coordinated and recorded.

You will work with maintenance teams, contractors and stakeholders, contributing to on-call coordination, compliance, and continuous improvement across maintenance systems and processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance administration, logistics, planning or coordination environments.
• Familiarity with Ellipse, SAP or similar platforms.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Well-developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Sound analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications and database systems.

Job description

The Public Transport Authority (PTA) is seeking motivated and organised Maintenance Support Officers to provide comprehensive support across the Network & Infrastructure Division.

Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendents and Signals Superintendents, this role plays a critical part in supporting maintenance operations through administration, procurement, inventory management, maintenance planning, compliance activities and on-call coordination. You will work closely with operational teams, technical specialists, contractors and stakeholders to ensure maintenance activities are effectively planned, coordinated and recorded.

There is one permanent full-time opportunity available for an immediate start. Applicants assessed as suitable through this process may be used to fill similar vacancies both fixed term and permanent that may arise within the next 12 months.

This is a pool recruitment process where suitable applicants will be placed in a pool for 12 months.
