Job summary

Archer Daniels Midland Company is seeking a Maintenance Scheduler in Decatur, IL to assemble resources from the maintenance plan and coordinate with planners and supervisors. The role focuses on aligning manpower, materials, equipment, and scheduling with production needs to minimize downtime.

The ideal candidate will have a two-year technical degree in Electrical or Mechanical Technology, experience with CMMS (Maximo), and a solid understanding of plant operations.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree preferred in electrical or mechanical engineering technology.
• Training and experience in industrial electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic applications preferred.
• Extensive knowledge and experience with CMMS (Maximo).
• Understanding of Manufacturing Plant Operation and Maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate discretionary work and determine feasibility.
• Schedule maintenance work groups coordinating with production leaders to optimize labor resources.
• Confirm priority and date needed/wanted.
• Review and document schedule breakers; define requirements to supervisors and planners.
• Ensure equipment is ready for maintenance when scheduled.
• Collaborate with planners to balance backlog and priorities.
• Maintain seven-day rolling maintenance schedule.
• Use Maximo CMMS to sequence work orders for day and night shifts.
• Prepare monthly reports detailing schedule compliance.
