Job summary

Archer Daniels Midland Company is seeking a Maintenance Reliability Manager in Clinton, IA. This exempt role leads reliability initiatives to move from reactive to proactive maintenance and drive step-change improvements in asset performance.

You will deploy reliability strategies, lead cross-functional teams, and champion continuous improvement of maintenance processes and systems across the facility.

Qualifications

• Electrical or mechanical engineering experience in a manufacturing maintenance/engineering environment.
• Proven ability in predictive and preventive maintenance.
• Knowledge of RCA, Cause-and-Effect or FMEA methodologies.
• Strong leadership of multifunctional teams.
• Excellent English written and oral communication skills.
• Familiarity with food safety and process safety management.
• Tenacity to pursue objectives to completion.
• Proactive change agent to improve plant culture.

Responsibilities

• Deploy the equipment reliability strategy.
• Develop asset management strategy aligned with business needs.
• Clarify roles and responsibilities within the maintenance organization.
• Optimize plant resources to improve efficiencies via reliability processes.
• Apply standard reliability methodologies and deploy agreed standards.
• Define and drive reliability metrics and KPIs to meet operational goals.
• Use downtime and cost data to prioritize reliability improvements.
• Provide technical support to the plant maintenance department.
• Identify continuous improvement projects and build business cases.
• Utilize CMMS for maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution.
• Set priorities and develop direct reports; mentor quarterly.
• Lead Losses to Action (L2A) projects to reduce downtime.
• Coordinate RCM initiatives within scope area.
